THE Met Office has issued a Yellow weather warning for rain across South and East Ayrshire.
The national weather service has warned of rain from today at 2pm until 6am tomorrow, Wednesday, January 4.
The warning includes possible flooding and disruption to transport as lying snow in the hills also begins to thaw.
What to expect:
- Flooding of a few homes and businesses is possible
- Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer
- Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer
