AYRSHIRE’S largest bus operator has confirmed changes to its usual timetables over the Christmas holiday period.
Stagecoach West Scotland says its services will end earlier than usual on December 24, with timetables running down from the early evening and no buses late at night.
There will be no services on Christmas Day and a limited service on Boxing Day, while a Saturday timetable will be in effect from December 27-30.
The last buses on South Ayrshire routes on Christmas Eve will depart at the following times.
Service 3: Kincaidston-Ayr 8.10pm, Whitletts-Ayr 8.42pm (terminates at Boswell Park).
Service 4: Glasgow-Ayr 8.35pm, Ayr-Kilmarnock 8.45pm.
Service 42: Ayr-Cumnock 7.15pm, Cumnock-Ayr 8.20pm.
Service 43: Ayr-New Cumnock 8.47pm, New Cumnock-Cumnock 9.10pm.
Service 43A: Ayr-Annbank 7.42pm, Annbank-Ayr 8.17pm.
Service 52: Ayr-Bellsbank 7pm, Bellsbank-Ayr 8pm.
Service 58/358: Ayr-Stranraer 7.20pm; Ayr-Girvan 8.20pm; Stranraer-Ayr 7.33pm; Girvan-Ayr 9.35pm.
Service 60: Ayr-Girvan 5.50pm, Girvan-Ayr 6.37pm.
Service 110: Kilmarnock-Troon 9pm, Troon-Kilmarnock 9.45pm.
Service 356: Bellsbank-Cumnock 6.12pm, Cumnock-Bellsbank 7.15pm.
Service 361: Ayr-Straiton 6.14pm, Straiton-Dunure 7.17pm, Dunure-Ayr 8.50pm.
Service X77: Ayr-Glasgow 6.40pm, Glasgow-Ayr 8pm.
All services not listed above will run to normal Saturday timetables on December 24.
