The service will take place at the Auld Kirk in Ayr at 3pm this Sunday, September 18.
South Ayrshire Council says the service will be attended by Sheriff Iona McDonald OBE, the Lord Lieutenant of Ayrshire and Arran, as well as by South Ayrshire Provost Iain Campbell and the Queen's Chaplain, the Reverend Ian Paterson.
Anyone who would like to attend is asked to ensure they are seated in the church no later than 2.45pm.
