AYR is the cheapest place to rent a flat in Scotland, according to a new survey.
The Screen With Envy survey analysed over 123 areas and 83,000 listings in the UK to determine the average rent PCM for a flat, shared property, bungalow and house.
Additionally, they looked at the average monthly rent price for a particular type of property across 1-4 bedrooms.
And Ayr has come out joint top alongside Kilmarnock as the cheapest flat rental area in Scotland, at an average of £443.74 per month.
In second place was Dumfries and Galloway at £478.75 and Perth at £539.37 per month.

Ayr also had the third cheapest average house rental in Scotland - at £807.40 per month.
Sophie Birkert of Screen With Envy said: “Tenants are facing the most competitive rental market on record due to a shortage of rentals, greater demand and the cost of living crisis.
"No matter if you live in an upmarket neighbourhood or a commuter town, knowing how much the average rent is in your and neighbouring areas could be the difference between securing your dream rental or not.”
