Ayr town centre will play host to a huge Orange Lodge parade this weekend.
More than 3,000 people, coming from 27 bands, will descend on Ayr this Saturday (July 2) for the event.
The parade, organised by the County Grand Lodge of Ayrshire, Renfrewshire and Argyll, will take place in Ayr town centre, where it is expected to cause disruption and delays for other road users.
The parade is set to begin at 11.30am.
It's understood that the outward parade route will be from the Low Green via Wellington Square, the War Memorial, Alloway Place, Miller Road, Alloway Street, High Street and Sandgate, returning to Wellington Square and the Low Green, and that the return route will be via Low Green, Blackburn Drive, Seafield Road and Racecourse View.
Anyone wishing to travel through the town is being advised to plan their journey in advance.
