THE victim of a motorcycle crash in Kilmarnock last week has been named as 45-year-old Bobby Landsborough from Ayr.
The incident happened at around 2.10pm on Tuesday, June 7, at the Moorfield Industrial Estate in the East Ayrshire town.
Mr Landsborough was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow with serious injuries and died on Saturday, June 11.
The road was closed off for a short while after the crash that also involved a van.
The 39-year-old male driver of the van was uninjured.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and anyone with information that could assist road policing officers, or who has dash-cam footage that could help, is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1863 of Tuesday, June 7, 2022.
