The Ayr County Show is set to take place on Saturday, 14 May for the first time in two years.
Ayr Racecourse will open it’s gates to the spectacle that is the Ayr County Show that will see its 177th show take place in its 186th year of existence.
The event includes exhibition and competition of various kinds of animals, trade stands, crafts, vintage tractor display, SWI competitions, Young Farmers competitions as well as family entertainment and music.
The Ayrshire Agricultural Association are committed to keeping this event going forward with a good range of attractions throughout the show field while not losing the true agricultural roots of Avr County Show.

“Ayr County Show look forward to welcoming you along to help them celebrate 177 years; let’s keep our fingers crossed for a lovely sunny day.”
The local Ayrshire Young Farmers District organise a Tug of War competition, this will take place in The Main Ring at 9.30am.
The Ayrshire Tug of War Club will be hosting a STOWA’s competition; there will be two eight aside weights a ladies 560kg and a men’s 640kg.
This will take place after the Ayrshire Young Farmers District Tug Of War Competition.
Finally, this year in the Main Ring the show will have fantastic entertainment from On The Edge Motorcycle Stunt Show demonstrating their high level of skill, balance and technical control on their bikes, with 15ft jumps up vertical walls, drop-offs and interactive stunts to amaze and entertain you.
