The South Ayrshire coast could see some more flooding today after the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) issued a warning covering a large swathe of the shoreline.
SEPA issued the 'Flood Warning' - their second highest category of warning - for an area covering Ayr, Prestwick, and Troon.
They say the worst of any flooding could occur between 2pm and 7pm today (Wednesday, February 23), with Ayr Seafield and Prestwick Links Road the most likely locations to see issues.
A statement on their website reads: "A flood warning has been issued for Ayr to Troon.
"There is a risk of flooding from wave overtopping and spray on the 23rd of February between the hours of 14:00 GMT and 19:00 GMT.
"The current model run is predicting overtopping to reach Flood Warning levels for the Ayr to Troon Flood Warning Area. The main areas of likely impacts are Ayr Seafield and Prestwick Links Road. Forecast wind speed is around 11 m/s from a south-westerly direction.
"Remain vigilant and remember, it is your responsibility to take actions which help protect yourself and your property."
Several, South Ayrshire locations saw flooding problems last week as a result of storms Dudley, Eunice, and Franklin.
The road to University Hospital Ayr became flooded, with vehicles having to mount the pavement to get through.
And in a residential street in Coylton, water levels began creeping dangerously up residents' driveways.
The warning comes as the Met Office has also issued a yellow weather warning for snow and wind to affect the area between 3pm today until 3pm tomorrow.
They say: "Frequent heavy snow showers are expected, along with very gusty winds and a small chance of frequent lightning affecting some places."
