Ayrshire Amnesty International are holding a special event in Ayr at the weekend.
The human rights campaigners are inviting members and supporters to an ‘Amnestea’ at the Holy Trinity Church Hall in Fullerton Street Ayr on Saturday December 4 from 2-4pm. There, they can sign a card or letter of support or write their own message to human rights defenders all across the world.
People can also enjoy a tea and coffee and find out more about the work of Amnesty International. All appropriate Covid protocols will be in place.
Amnesty International provides a voice for the voiceless and supports people who have been imprisoned or tortured for campaigning on justice and human rights issues.
