Of 172 reviews, 107 rated it excellent and 38 rated it very good. 

One five star review said: "Outstanding service. Nice chips and very filling but what stood out to me were the girls working. Efficient, polite, they look like they work hard. Fantastic at enforcing covid regulations but in a non confrontational manner. Job well done."

Another read: "Best chippy ever. Delicious food and great service. Never had a bad meal when sitting in or taking out. Whole family loves it."

One five star review read: “Visited tonight for dinner. As usual piping hot and perfect. Cod was lovely and King prawn tempura was delicious. Fist time trying their tempura but certainly won’t be the last. Pleasant staff who give you a buzzer to let you know when order ready. Very well organised. Well done again.”

Another said: “Fabulously fresh fish, good choice plus other tempura treats. Very busy considering the area and nowhere to sit at all. Very sturdy take away containers so a wee trip to sit somewhere nice would be in order. Great portions and very hot...”

One five star review read: "Amazing !!! On holiday and we passed this and can say we had the most delicious fish and chips ,and we will be back."

One five star review read: "Very Nice! Visited for a late breakfast/lunch and glad we did! I ordered the Wellington Trio of scampi, cod and haddock, (both pieces were about 9 inches in length) with chips and peas..my drink was hot cappuccino and it was lovely! Hot, with huge portions..the fish was done crispy and the scampi (4) were just as nice. The guys had the cod and theirs was just as nice. The wait was short. The lady who served us was kind and very helpful. The three of us will go back! Great place!"

Another read: "Fab options. My husband has had many gluten free meals when we have eaten out but the fish and chips he had in this restaurant were by far the best he’s ever had - we had chicken goujons as well and they were delicious- staff were super friendly and very helpful explaining every gluten free option right down to the vinegar and ketchup- since eating in restaurant we have had several takeaways and honestly can’t rate this place high enough - we would definitely recommend."
