Man remains in a critical condition after being found injured in Maybole
A man who was found injured in Maybole last week remains in hospital in a critical condition.
The man was found in Glenalla Road in the town last Wednesday (May 12), when cops were called to the scene.
He was taken to Ayr Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
Enquiries are still ongoing to establish the full circumstances as to how the man suffered his injuries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers received a report of a man found injured in Glenalla Road in Maybole around 4.15pm on Wednesday, May 12.
"He was taken to the Ayr Hospital for treatment, where he remains in a critical condition. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full set of circumstances."
