A GUIDE to winter health and care services has been produced by NHS Ayrshire & Arran.
The leaflet has been created with the help of the three Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnerships.
The information has been collated to ensure people can access the care they need over the festive season.
Eddie Fraser, director of East Ayrshire HSCP, said: “As a result of the global pandemic, how we provide services has had to change.
“This is so that we can keep you and the NHS safe.
“As we move into the busy winter period, this is more important than ever.
“This guide explains the services available to you this winter and gives advice on how you can help us keep you and our NHS safe by using our services wisely.”
The guide includes details of the services which will be available over Christmas and New Year.
It contains information on the NHS’ new Right Care, Right Place model for emergency care.
A well as this, it features advice on self-care and looking after mental health and wellbeing.
There are also details regarding addiction and sexual health services.
The full guide is available online at www.nhsaaa.net.
