A CHILDREN’S soft play centre, whose cafe has closed due to Level 4 lockdown, donated its tips to help Whiteleys.
Marilyn Miller, staff and customers at Kidz Play all managed to chip in to raise £265 for the children’s respite charity.
With the popular Prestwick spot for young children and their parents closed due to coronavirus restrictions, their terrace cafe Rest A Shore remained open, but as of Friday, November 20 at 6pm had to shut for three weeks.
The charity thanked all those who contributed.
A spokesperson for Whiteleys said: “Despite the incredible anguish and injustice businesses like Kidz Play have endured since lockdown in March this year, this amazing lady Marilyn Miller, staff and customers still managed to think of the charity and raised an incredible £265 from customer tips given at the terrace cafe.
“We hope the government will offer the help you all deserve throughout this pandemic.
“Stay safe from Team Whiteleys.”
