A POIGNANT week of remembrance was held in Maybole last week.
On Sunday, November 8 wreaths were laid down at the war memorial by members of the community and the Royal British Legion Scotland.
On Armistice Day (Wednesday, November 11) primary school pupils gathered at Greenside to participate in a minutes silence.
It was a very different ceremony that was held in the town this year due to coronavirus restrictions but those who lost their lives in conflict were still remembered.
