NEW Troon FC boss Jonny Baillie is looking to help improve the club’s fortunes after taking charge for the new campaign.
The former Hibs and Ayr United defender succeeds Jim Kirkwood, who left at the end of last season after his second spell as boss.
He is joined in the coaching team by goalkeeper Marty Fraser and former captain Dean K eenan.
Last season saw the Seasiders finish 12th in the Premier Division.
Baillie said: “My hopes are first and foremost to improve on last season. Jim has left me a really good foundation with14 of the boys who were here last season signed up.
“Some have a year’s Premier Division experience and some have more. There were games last year when we should have done better, especially against the teams around us."
