A WRESTLING show in Ayr will still go ahead in honour of its organiser Adrian "Lionheart" McCallum, following his tragic passing.
The Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW) World Champion died last month aged 36.
Pro Wrestling Elite's eighth Anniversay Show will still take place on Saturday July 20 at the Citadel.
Over the past eight years, Adrian built up PWE as part of the Ayrshire to provide regular, affordable, family entertainment for thousands of people every year.
Now his closest friends (and greatest rivals) have come together to make sure that the landmark event is his legacy.
PWE Heavyweight Champion and long-time friend of Lionheart, Andy Wild said: “'As the first ever PWE Heavyweight Champion, this show going ahead means the world to me.
"Adrian worked tirelessly not only to build a world class working environment for wrestlers, but to deliver a world class product to wrestling fans in Ayr."
"We have all come together to make sure that Adrian's 8 years of hard work is presented to the fans of Ayr the way he wanted it to be by making sure this anniversary show still goes ahead.”
"Thanks to all their efforts, alongside the support of his family and South Ayrshire Council, all existing tickets for the event will be honoured and a brand new website has been set up to purchase tickets at: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/pwe-8th-anniversary-show-in-memory-of-lionheart-tickets-64485332365"
