PUPILS of Kirkmichael Primary School have been cooking up a storm in the kitchen.
The children of the school have been enjoying a food technologies programme with input from the Home Cook School.
The primary students created their own Halloween themed Community Afternoon Tea by planning and creating their own menu.
Family and friends attended the initiative on the day and Head Teacher Liz Candish praised Education Scotland for providing funding for the event to go ahead.
She said: “The initiative which was made possible by funding from Education Scotland, gave the pupils an opportunity to learn and apply a huge range of lifelong learning skills in a real-life context.”
