WRIGHT - Elizabeth Mavis 25th April 1943 4th August 2020 Surrounded by her close and loving family, Elizabeth Mavis Wright (nee Hart), died at home on 4th August. Until the very end, she bore her illness with incredible hope, strength and dignity, an example to those who knew and loved her. She played an enormous part in the lives of her adored seven children and nine grandchildren. The Wright family is indebted to so many people: the Staff at University Hospital Ayr, the Cancer Cars Charity, the Palliative Care Team at Ayr Hospice, the staff at Willis Pharmacy and the exceptional support given by doctors and district nurses at the Temple Hill Surgery. Thank you to the wonderful carers from Mears 874 Ayrshire whose dedication went above and beyond the call of duty. Finally, thank you to the NHS and to South Ayrshire Council, without whose excellent level of care given to Mavis would not have been possible.
