Elizabeth At the Biggart Hospital, on 20th March 2008 shortly after her 90th birthday Elizabeth L.V. Hoggart (McCowan) nee Black died peacefully. A much loved mother to Tom, Morag and the late George McCowan, grandmother and great grandmother. Widow of John W McCowan and George J Hoggart. Originally from Stepps, latterly from Troon. Many thanks to the wonderful staff in Lindsay Ward for their care and kindness during her stay in hospital. Family and friends are invited to the Funeral Service on Thursday 27th March at St Meddans Church, Troon, at 1pm and thereafter to Holmsford Bridge Crematorium at 2pm.
