DAYTIME closures will be in place on the A77 between Ayr and Stranraer later this month.
Amey is undertaking essential investigations on the A77 north of Stranraer, between Sandmill and Beach Cottage.
The works will take place from Monday, October 28 until Wednesday 30, between 9.30am and 3.30pm each day.
The work will require road closures and southbound traffic will be directed to take the A751 at Innermessan and join the A75 to Stranraer. Northbound traffic will follow the route in reverse.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout the works.
These investigations follow previous works carried out using an innovative recycling scheme in October 2022.
