The mammoth Airbus A380 drew huge crowds as it landed at Prestwick Airport for the first time this afternoon.
An Airbus A380 operated by Global Airlines touched down at the airport at around 4pm on Wednesday.
It's the first time the aircraft type - the largest in the world -has landed at the South Ayrshire airport.
The aircraft left Montreal on Wednesday morning, with aviation fanatics turning up at the airport to watch it touch down.
The full-length double-deck aircraft has a typical seating for 525 passengers, with a maximum certified capacity for 853 passengers.
