Body found on Galloway Avenue treated as 'unexplained'
A road in Ayr remains closed after a body was found in the early hours of this morning [Wednesday, October 6].
Police were called to Galloway Avenue off Whitletts Road following the death of a man outside a property on the street.
The circumstances of the death are currently being treated as 'unexplained'.
A police spokesperson: "Police were called around 6.10am on Wednesday, October 6, following the sudden death of a man outside a property on Galloway Avenue, Ayr.
"Enquiries are currently ongoing to establish the full circumstances. The death is being treated as unexplained at this time.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
